1. Murtala Muhammed International Airport MMIA, Lagos— Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) is the largest airport in Nigeria . MMIA was built in the year 1979 .MMIA has two runways at the airport and one is 3,900 metres and the other is 2,743 metres .

2. Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport— This airport started off has a local airport , it was later honoured with a new status of  international airport in the year 1950 . Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport is said to be the oldest Nigerian airport and it is still relevant till date .

3. Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport NAIA— Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport  is one of the best Nigerian airport that is still at the apex in Nigeria . The airport was named after Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe . The high point of this airport is that it has always been the busiest airport in Nigeria but below Murtala Muhammed International Airport which is unarguably the biggest and busiest in Nigeria.
